I have been meaning to read Forced Into Glory, it’s actually on my bucket list! I will be looking for the Jerry Butler Story on my Nook. I love autobiographies and collect them as a hobby. Thanks for the recommendation! good list!

Check them all out. Jerry Butler is my cousin so I had to plug his book. His dad and my grandfather were brothers.

In an effort to support African American/Black businesses I’m currently searching for a bookstore to refer you, the reader to, so you can obtain these books and many more.

I’m also working on a directory listing for black owned black bookstore across the country so all information is welcomed.
